Melis restaurant was founded in 2012 in the historical of town Olney by our owner and head
chef Yelda Mackley.
It was the first Turkish restaurant to be established in Milton Keynes.
What started as a small family restaurant in a cosy setting, soon turned into a little gem where people from neighbouring counties flock to get a taste of real Turkish cuisine. The food was fresh, authentic and a real experience to be had.
As we grew out of our cosy venue it was unavoidable to find a bigger restaurant so the CMK site was launched in 2015.
We continue to put our customers at the heart of everything we do from having belly dancers to entertain, to the only dedicated shisha area in CMK, not to mention the great food that is provided by Yelda and her team of talented chefs. We strive to and take pride in ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors have a great time.
